Georgetown College vs. McDonough

Since applicants can only apply to one school... (at least that's what I've found. Anybody care to prove me wrong?)

Is it easier to get into Georgetown College or McDonough? I might do economics in GT College or pick a more specialized major in the B school. Ease of acceptance will play a factor in my decision... Thanks in advance!

McDonough is "easier" to get into, but only in the sense that a $.99 cheeseburger is cheaper than a $1.00 cheeseburger, in other words, the difference is almost insignificant. Pick whichever school suits your needs best. If you want to take Economics, apply to the College, if you want to take Finance/Accounting, apply to MSB.

or you could apply to the SFS and become an international econ major (subfield b: finance & commerce). arguably the most rigorous of the sfs majors and well regarded on wall st

Is it possible to go to the business school, and still take econ as a double?

You can definitely minor in economics. Not sure about majoring.

You can't double major across schools

They are planning on offering the business minor to all Georgetown students in the college and not just the language majors, I believe starting this fall. So, if you end up in the college doing econ, you can still get into your msb classes. Just something to consider. You can also take accounting and finance in the college which along with an econ major would set you up nicely.
