callofdutycallofduty Registered User Posts: 1 New Member
I'm planning to transfer to Gatech soon. However, there are two options:

1. Apply thru RETP program

2. Apply normally thru transfer admission

can someone gives me some tips?

thank you

I have never understood the difference exactly. I think your best bet would be to call admissions and let them advise you. I am sure they are asked this all the time

RETP is guaranteed assuming you are part of the program, take the required classes and have the GPA necessary while a regular transfer isn't.

I am a transfer student that is finishing up his second semester at Tech. I applied as a regular transfer, and was accepted as such. If you have any questions I could try and answer them.

If you don't mind me asking,

What was your GPA, how many credit hours you had (and AP credits), and intended major when you applied for your transfer admission? Also, what term did you apply for?
