What are my chances to be a member of GT '24?

Saw some other posts similar to this so I got curious. Here goes nothing I guess, might be rough. Please tell me what you think my chances are to be a Public Policy major at GT.

A little about myself, extracurriculars, awards, and honors-
- Applied Early Action, Out of state, Caucasian
- Military kid
- In a competitive area with lots of people probably smarter than me but I hold my own I guess.
- Boy Scouts (Lots of time spent here)
- Eagle Scout w/Silver Palm
- Numerous scout leadership positions held
- Active OA member (current Chapter Vice Cheif)
- Venture Crew (current V.P. of Program)
- 175+ community service hours
- selected as a delegate to Boys State and held office (Mayor).
- 4 year, 3 season athlete, team captain+Varsity letter this year (Cross Country, Indoor + Spring Track)
- Member of honor societies (NHS, Business, History, German)

Numbers and Coursework-
GPA- 3.97w
- I am an IB Diploma candidate and have largely always taken the toughest courses available. Never earned lower than a B- on a report card but poor grades in Alg 1 and regular math classes in 8th and 9th grade have kinda sunk my GPA- I earned a 4.3 last year.
SAT- 1330 (680 r+w, 650m)
- Took the November SAT, not too confident with it but will update if score improved

- I felt my essays were solid and simple. For the Comm. App essay I wrote about my experiences as a military kid, resilience and all that good stuff, basically just told my story. I felt very good about my GT essay, should give the admissions committee a good idea of why I want to study public policy at Tech.

Anyways that's it I think, Ill update if I forgot something or have new input. Let me know where you think I'll stand.

Based on your "might be rough" comment in your original post, I suspect you already know this, but you will likely be rejected and should have other options lined up. Your grades are low for Tech (bottom 5%), your test scores are below the 25th percentile for admitted students, and you are an OOS applicant.

As I am sure you know, your GPA and test scores are low for GT. Less than 6% of accepted students in 2018 (2019 numbers not out yet) had a GPA under 3.75uw and both of your SAT scores are at or below the 25th percentile for admitted students. Since you are OOS that makes your chances even less likely. For last year, Public Policy had 53 OOS applicants and 15 were accepted so a little better percentage than the overall OOS acceptance rate. Not sure if that means much, since GT claims they don't accept by major. Some OSS people do get in with SAT scores on the lower end but they usually are on the upper end of GPA and rigor. Chances are very low.
