Rec Letters HELP

Hey guys,

I am new to the forums, I recently started a terminal masters program and am looking to apply to a PhD program when I finish my masters.

I noticed most people apply to like 8-12 schools. I have been looking into schools and many of them require my recommend-er to fill out the rec online through the application or through an email sent to them.

Are all you guys asking your prof to do this for all 10 schools, this is ridiculous is there a way around this or something I feel bad asking each prof to do this 8 times.

Thanks for any help!

Don't feel bad. It's part of the professor's job, they get paid for it and they were once grad students asking their professors for recommendation letters, too. They only have to write the letter once - the rest is just printing it and mailing it.

Just be sure to ask well in advance so as to give them plenty of time.
