American University vs GW

I was wondering if someone could help me. Admissions decisions are due shortly, and I've been staring at pages, number and statistics, but still having trouble picking a school. I got into both American University and George Washington. Both schools say they have excellent reputations, programs, etc., but I can find little comparing the strengths and weaknesses of the two programs. I, like many others, have been hoping for a career as a FSO, but I also want to have back up options because I know that the process of passing the exam and clearances is slow. My focus has mostly been in security and East Asia and South East Asia. Does anyone have any advice for me or insight into the major strengths and weaknesses of the programs? If you do, I would really appreciate it.
