Graduate school a quarter late

eshankseshanks Registered User Posts: 1 New Member
I'm applying to a few graduate schools, but just learned that I will graduate from my undergraduate program a quarter late. Is it possible to defer admission from graduate school for a semester/quarter/year? Or should I just not bother applying and apply next year?

depends on the grad program. Do they accept for a fall start only, or do they start any quarter/semester.

Do some research into schools/programs that you are interested in.

@eshanks - Welcome to the Forum! If you are interested in a Masters, then it is certainly possible to start in the Spring. However for PhD, a Fall start is generally best and the most likely way to get funding.
