Does Harvard know that it is harder to get an 800 on Math 1 (Since if you miss 1, you get a 770) than on Math 2 (Miss 4 and still get 800)?

They do not look at percentiles when they look at scores. Also, although the smaller pool of kids that take the SAT Math II is much stronger, the test is also much harder, so therefore the curve is more forgiving.
