Submitting Additional Material

I am applying SCEA to Harvard. I recently submitted my resume as an extra piece of non-academic material, and was wondering if I were to submit another piece of non-academic material (a newspaper article written about a company I started: the article is about a year old) how admissions would consider this or if they would frown upon it? Just curious as to what others think. :) Thanks for any input!
