How is harvard tennis? Is it hard to get recruited for the team? What ranking or status do you need to get recruited?

Another guy at my school who along with me was admitted was "recruited" for tennis. I say "recruited", because he scored 1600 on his SATs, very highly on his SAT IIs, and had already been offered a place at Oxford. Tennis wise, I'm not entirely sure what he does at the moment, but he represented Great Britain a few years back, and was apparantly approached by a Harvard coach who saw him play at Wimbledon (U18).

I thought Oxford didn't have sports teams?

Not as such - that was kind of me point. It's stretching it a bit to say he was "recruited" for tennis when he had a pretty good chance already.
