Should I call him?

I usually don't make this sort of threads, but I'm bored and I want to get people's opinion:
So, I hooked up with this guy at a halloween party yesterday, and we had already hooked up before months ago. Yesterday, we spent the whole party together and none of us hooked up with other people.
We were gonna change cel phone numbers, but he didn't have his cel with him, so I got his number and promised him to text him so he would get mine.
I text him when I got home, just saying "hey its me. Fun night, kisses" or something like that. But he hasn't text me back or called me or e-mailed me or anything today. I don't know if he didn't get my text or if he just won't answer it or what.
Another curious fact is that his best friend told me he had been speaking about meeting me at this party the whole week and everyone I talk to seems to think he likes me, but that even though he's not a shy person, he's shy with girls.
Ok, so what do you guys think? Should I call him? Should I wait a bit longer?
The thing is that we have a holiday on monday and tuesday, so I wanted to go out with him in one of these days cuz during the regular week my schedule is so tight.
If anyone in CC is bored or has a kind soul, you can help me by giving an opinion on my personal life. =D

Just give him time, if he's interested, he'll call/text you eventually.
usualy i get phone calls or texts the next day, and yeah, it does seems desperate, but as i really like this guy i wouldn't mind getting a call before 24 hours have passed.

Since it's HS, i'm assuming at least 1st base.
We have a specific word in portuguese and other languages for that, but i don't know if there's a speific english word, so I usually just use "hook up", but I don't know if its correct.
By the way whats 1st base, 2nd base and all those base stuff? I never get this =P

What is meant by first, second, and third base and homerun?
This one always confused me as a teen too. I was never sure what the lingo meant, although I was sure that homerun meant having sex. So, I asked around and was surprised to lean that most of my buddies aren't 100% on this one either. The general consensus seems to be the following; first base = kissing, second base = kissing and touching over clothes, third base = kissing and touching under clothes, home = sex. Now in my opinion these terms are usually used when reliving events for friends and are not a part of any moment of intimacy. Who ever got romantic by asking if they could make it to second base? If you want to know what this means so you can decipher the gossip you hear around school, fine, but if you are looking for the right words to describe your own activities you may want to think for a moment. When you get intimate with somebody there is an implied trust that should not be ignored. If you gossip about what you did you are betraying that trust and what does that say about you? The baseball analogy is a pretty immature way to talk about some very mature stuff and aren't you better than that?
Me and my friends have spent entire off-hours talking about our so-called "games", with each "team" being a different girl. Our analogies went pretty deep and it was a blast since nobody around us knew what we were laughing about or why we were. Guess what getting tagged out at home means, for example.
