I'm currently in the process of memorizing all element names to help myself in my upcoming AP Chem class and for the exam itself and I'm wondering, will I need to know the names or any other info about 112-118? I know there are different names for some such as Uuo - Ununoctium for Oganesson. Should I be prepared to know all the names of each?

You get a periodic table on the exam. Memorizing information given to you, especially when it's that much, is a waste of time. Also I haven't seen anything beyond lead on the exam anyway.

Nothing will he asked about those elements. There’s no need to memorize names - AP’s aren’t memorization tests. It’s like memorizing digits of pi for a math exam.
