EXTREMELY hard. almost impossible to get 7's on all of your IB exams + earn the 3 pts from your EE and TOK

our school basically gives us so many required IB classes that I think we don't have anyone at my school not getting the diploma.

You need an average of 4 for all your Standard Level tests as well as the Higher Level ones. So getting 24 points is enough to get diploma. Also, the 3 pts from EE and TOK go only towards your SL classes.

You're a scary 8th grader. Seriously. I don't even know how to pronounce IB, let alone spell it.

I did IB in high school... my IBC said that only one person from our school had ever gotten a 45.

I still did really well though - 41 on a bilingual diploma with A's on both essays (HL: Chemistry, History in French, English A1; SL: Math Methods in French, French A2, Biology). Most of my classmates had scores around 34-36, with some below and some above. We had 44 IB grads (9 bilingual diploma) and all of them passed.

If you're smart and put some good work in 40 is achievable. You also have to figure out what the IB wants. You could be a genuis, but not follow the marking rubrics and fail. Try www.ibscrewed.net if you want to find a good number of IB overachievers (maybe they'll even tell you how they did it...).

It depends how smart you are...for me it would be easy because I will have already covered the material on the IB syllabus 2-3 years before.
