What's YOUR game plan?

I just wanted to hear some thoughts...so post the following:

What keeps YOU going? What gives you the drive to keep pushing and doing better for the SAT, school, tests, projects, job, whatever? What is your motivation to make your self work harder and not just give up?

And another important one -
What stops you from being LAZY?

Btw...don't give answers like "my parents will yell at me if I don't keep working", "I'll get in trouble" or "My laziness helps me to do well", however true those may be. :)

Okay let's hear the ideas/thoughts!

What I do - I think about how bad it would be and how much of a dissapontment it would be if I don't get what I want in the future just because I didn't work. I think about what a shame it would be if I had everything, the time, the materials, a brain - but I didn't put them to use in the right way and will end up like working n McDonalds and not going to college or something if I don't put in some effort. I know...pretty extreme, but it works.

Well I want to do well for myself and also for my whole family. My Parents, Grandparents and everyone else in my family have really high expectations for me and I don't want to dissapoint them. So I keep that in mind when I do my work.

There are two reasons that motivate me to do good, the high competition between my friends and I, and the effort my parents have done for me, it would be such a disgrace to disappoint them.
