Hello I am new to homeschooling. My D is 6th grade. Currently I've chosen CAVA.

1.Are there any other affordable better alternatives to CAVA k12.
2.Is there any difference between online high school and home school.
3. What is your opinion about Stanford online high schools.

1 - I don't know, but there are a lot of options. Read around on this board and you'll find EPGY, Stanford, Keystone, and others.

2 - Online high school has provided classes - research Keystone for more info.

3 - no opinion, but I think TokenAdult has opinions - search for his posts.

    Good luck!

Yea online high school is a good choice because you will have official records of your classes and actual teachers. And if you are in florida FLVS is free .

NEW 100% Online Home School Program for High School Grades 9-12 and advanced 8th grade provides an interactive online high school program with more accountability and teacher interaction.
