We live in California. I work full time. Right now my friend teaches my daughter (grade 6) for 3 days a week. I teach her before I go the work and after I come from back. I am looking for some program that is authorized in California and is more interactive than CAVA.

Have you looked at taking courses online at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth? While it's not an online middle school, their online courses I believe are fully accredited and are recognized by schools.

Alpha Omega has an on-line program where the student can communicate directly with a teacher during typical school hours.
