Online Schools

7th grade D left her privaate school this year and began online school. She’s been doing Laurel Springs GT. And while it’s fine, she’d like more interaction with her teachers. She’s applied to SOHS and we are waiting on second round admissions decisions. If this doesn’t work out in her favor, what are other schools that can provide the rigor she would like and more interaction that LS? I’m looking into CTY online. Any other ideas?

Davidson’s has a new online school that is similar to its public school in Reno. I am not sure if the registration deadline has passed. Your daughter would need to qualify under their admission standards - an IQ score above a certain number or at least 1400 on the SATs at twelve years old or younger, something like that. Lots and lots of teacher interaction though.
