Questions about Barrett ASU.

I just found out about Barrett and thought it was pretty interesting. I just cant figure out what it is all about? The barretts supposedly live in nicer dorms and 30% of their classes are "honor" classes, what is an honor class and what is the difference between an honor class and a normal class? What are some of the real benefits from the honor college? Higher chances to get internships? Connections with companies?
I believe international students can get accepted to the honor college, I have great grades so far and an SAT score of 2290. Am i eligible? If i were to get accepted to ASU barrett honors college and completed a bachelors, would my degree would still be from "just" ASU and or from ASU barrett or something like that?
