Are there any summer engineering internships for high schoolers in Georgia still open?

I’m interested in an engineering internship for high schoolers (11th grade) during the summer. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. I found a really good opportunity on the TAG-ED website but I JUST missed the deadline. Is there anywhere else where I could find an engineering or STEM internship application?

Also, is there any way to get an internship at GTRI?

NASA has high school opportunities, but you likely missed the deadline. Google OSSI.

The thing you need to know though is that HS internships are rare. Internships for anyone who isn't a rising college senior are rare. Why? You don't have any technical skills to offer and they take a lot of work to set up and manage.

The take home message is...don't be discouraged if nothing materializes.

    Good luck!
