I know this might not be the "proper" forum to ask this, but I felt this was the best one to post this in

What are some of the best places that a current freshman could volunteer at that would help me learn more about Scientific Fields?

I also know that many people will respond saying "It's not worth it if you are miserable doing it" or something along those lines, but I'm personally just intrigued at learning new things especially if it's related to science. The way that things happen in nature or in our bodies just 'hooks' me. Although it may be early, but I am really looking into medicine {pharmacy} a lot.

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
