What to wear to an MTV interview?

I know a suit wouldn't be appropriate. What do you think would be good a girl to wear for a production internship interview?

keep it simple -- black slacks or skirt with a cardigan/sweater boots or ballet flats depending on state of the weather

dress shirt + tie and slacks for every interview at the minimum. you can never look too overdressed, but you sure can look underdressed.

id go for monochromatic classics with a twist. say the black skirt is asymmetrical, or the white collared shirt has an interesting silhouette.

edit- i hadnt realized you were interviewing for a production internship. in all honesty, it wont really matter unless youre slovenly/ disrespectful.
