Are there any colleges/universities that have a strong writing course that would help in later getting a job as sitcom writer screenwriter? (Preferably on the East Coast)

OR

Can any liberal arts college that has a strong English program be sufficient?

Honestly, the only thing that would be sufficient is being a good writer. You can have been a high school dropout, write a great pilot script, and get repped by an agent/manager--that's all it takes.

But going to USC/NYU/UCLA for Screenwriting wouldn't hurt, either.
