Your SAT is way too low to apply for early decision. You will only get rejected. There are lots of people in JHU who apply with perfect GPA and higher SAT scores. I would not suggest you to apply for early decision. Volunteering hours don't matter as much because colleges know that there are various ways to fake the hours, you know (I'm not saying that you fake your volunteering hours) But you have to know, JHU is hella competitive and I would strongly suggest you to apply for regular decision

Your ECs are pretty impressive for a Taiwanese applicant, but I'm afraid I must agree with divergentlove, your SAT is simply too low with nothing significant that can remediate that issue.

Okay, wow this was harsh. Your sat is fine. I got an 1800 sat my friend got a 1400 and we both go to hopkins. Volunteering actually does matter, because that was most of my activities. Jhu is actually heavy on caring about the community "Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game"
