GRE and Merit Scholarships

Now that more law schools are taking the GRE, does anyone know how they will weigh the GRE v LSAT? I had understood that GRE was not being used for rankings. And law schools do give out some merit to attract high LSAT scores. Since the GRE is not yet used for rankings is this a disincentive to give a high GRE scorer any merit?
