Democratic Presidential candidate, Andrew Yang, whose parents came to America from Taiwan, only lasted 5 months in biglaw. A Columbia Law School graduate, Andrew Yang also graduated from Brown University & from Phillips Exeter Academy. His parents met at UCal-Berkeley. Dad has PhD in Physics & mom has graduate degree in statistics.

During the first several years in biglaw, associates have almost no control whatsoever over their professional life within that firm--although the pay is substantial.
