Nursing Major to Law School

For a long while now, I've been considering both nursing and law (nursing more so because of the job opportunities). Are law schools like medical schools where they look down on nursing majors? How likely is it for a nursing major to get into a law school. What are the advantages to going pre-law as opposed to nursing or any other major for that matter. What's most important to me is what is the likelihood that a law school grad will get a good paying job within a year? Sorry there are so many questions, I figure this is the best place to ask.

Where did you hear that medical schools look down on nursing majors? I haven't heard that but if it's true, I'd like to find out more! My friend is a nursing major considering medical school...

nursing is considered to be a non traditional major. in addition to this nurses are in high demand, i don't know why, but i've heard that medical school really don't want to take nurses. there are nurses who have become doctors, but it's definitely more difficult than if you just major in bio or chem. I'm apart of this forum thing called allnurses.com and I've heard about this there. If you're friend is attempting the nursing to med school route she/he had better have a good answer to "why do you feel the need to leave the nursing profession while their numbers are so low to become a doctor"
