What do you mean by not much school spirit?

By school spirit...does that mean athletics-wise?

I was accepted to loyola, and have recently been thinking a little more about going there. What is social life like, meaning...

are there dorm parties? or do most people just go into chicago?
is it a lively campus as far as student activities on the weekends, or do you kind of have to create your own fun?
are there a lot of clubs that people are actively involved in?
how is housing after your freshman year? do many juniors/seniors stay on campus?

also...i know its really expensive. I didn't get much financial aid there, and if i call and request more...will they give me more?
