I'm going to be 17 when I get to McGill, so I'd written a letter to the Dean requesting him to act as my custodian. I recently got the reply but I'm not sure whether this replaces the Declaration of Parental Authority form or the Declaration of Guardianship form or both! Please please reply soon! I feel like I won't get everything done in time :/ thanks!

Hi there! I actually have a question for you: How long after you sent the letter did you receive a reply?

You have plenty of time. Call the Office for International Students at McGill. They are very knowledgable and helpful.

@Uni2013 I had to get a letter as well because I'll be a minor when I get there and it took probably 3 and a half to four weeks to receive a reply

Ok, thanks! I will also be a minor when I go in and I sent my letter the end of May. Hopefully I'll get it back next week as I will be out of the country after that...
