First year living off campus?

How difficult/ different will it be for a freshman living off campus? My fear is that I'll be secluded from all the other first years if I live off campus. If anybody can give me any advice or offer some insight about living in an apartment by yourself as a first year that'd be great. Thanks!

You basically just need that initial "break in" to get you started. Get into any small group of friends and you'll be set. It's really not that hard tbh. Visit a few clubs or just go to the mcgill bar and be chatty with the guy/girl next to you.
