Interfaculty Transfer

Do any of you know how hard/easy it would be to transfer from the Arts faculty into the business faculty at McGill,or at the University of Toronto? Is it highly unlikely?

Also, would you recommend taking the risk and going into arts (humanities) at McGill or at University instead of going into the University of Western Ontario's BMOS without AEO status?

@nightlights Were you denied direct admission to Desautels? You would be able to transfer after first year if you GPA is high enough, likely 3.7 or higher. You will not be able to transfer until Fall, 2015.

@tomofboston yes, I did not meet their math pre-req. I know with UofT it is highly unlikely even with a high GPA, do you know if that's the case with McGill? Also, are you familiar with Montreal?

@nightlights In the McGill webinar on the 4th of April, the representative told us that transfer requests are extremely competitive. She said around 134 students applied for a transfer last year but only 6 were actually transferred and the selection was mostly done on the basis of GPA.
