Trying to get into McGill... again!

DouglockDouglock 21 replies2 threads Junior Member
So here is my case: I'm a mature student of 38 and already have a degree from an university abroad. My GPA there was 3.67. I also got a Certificate (30 credits) from the University of Montreal last year, where I got a GPA of 3.97. I had applied to McGill before getting that Certificate and got admitted to the Faculty of Arts, but at the same time I was diagnosed with chronic depression, social phobia and generalized anxiety disorder. Long story short, I freaked out dropped out of McGill after only one week. Fortunately I was able to get treatment and feel I can go the academic lane over again.

The thing is, I'm not sure how McGill will consider (or re-consider) my application this time. Back then they said I'd have to apply again the same way (which I did last weekend) but I'm worried that the fact that I got accepted then left may have an impact on their decision.

Any ideas about this would be really appreciated!
