I don't want to learn english, I just need this class because graduate schools and professional schools require english comp or expository writing as a prerequisite

Unfortunately, McGill does not offer English Comp or Expository Writing courses; however, Concordia does: Programs & Courses Creative Writing

You would be considered a visiting student at Concordia. More info here: Programmes d’échanges d’étudiants de la CREPUQ (PÉÉ)

Would Research essay and Rhetoric fulfill English Comp, or expository writing requirement?
  • casszcassz Registered User Posts: 78 Junior Member
    @ transferwanabe:

It varies with the med/dental/grad school. Some explicitly state that ESL, Scientific, Professional, Technical and Creative Writing classes do not fulfill the English requirement. You'd have to check with the school you're interested in.

Thank you for your e-mail. That course can be used to fulfill our requirement.
