Hi! I've been looking to apply to Miami U, though I'm unsure whether the merit aid they offer is great; since my sister is already in college as a sophomore, I don't want the cost to be overwhelming for my parents. As the title says, I was wondering on how good were merit aid scholarships MiamiU provided for this year's incoming class. Thank you for your help!

Miami U offers merit based on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. If you reach the target, you are guaranteed at least the minimum amount for that level.
It's pretty generous for students who score very high on the standardized tests.

Hi! I’m an incoming freshman at Miami, and I’m beyond excited! As a high achieving student, I was looking for good merit aid as well, and I found it at Miami. To give you something to compare to, I had a 1550 SAT, 34 ACT, and a 4.6 GPA. I was awarded $36,000 per year. I’m super happy with my choice to go to a school for merit, and Miami gave me the best merit offer of all of the schools that I applied to.

Thank you so much for the insight, it is really helpful and I'm relieved that Miami isn't as stingy as some colleges may be with their financial aid packages. Though I don't have comparable stats to you, as I have a 1500 SAT and 4.3 GPA, even just 30k in merit would help my parents out a lot and cut some of the costs. Thanks again!

They did right by my D19 and gave her plenty of merit. If I were you I would give it one last shot at the SAT or ACT and try to improve a little. Just don't send the scores anywhere unless you improve. Either way you should get a nice merit amount.
