4 AP classes (English, history, psychology and biology) out of the 6 that our school offers
All honors core classes 9th and 10th grade

6 years of club soccer
4 years of varsity soccer (4 year captain, all
conference 10th and 11th grade, 4 year MVP)
2 years of volunteering at local hospital
National Honor Society
Interact Club
French Club
Ranked 22 in a class of 280

Will be majoring in kinesiology.

I applied early September and the portal still says it's under review with the admissions counselor. I know they get a lot of applications but I am just nervous I haven't heard back yet. Thanks!!

    I think your chances are good. I do not know if your GPA is weighted or not, but MSU gives some weight to honors/AP/IB classes. Your GPA is average, and so is your ACT. It's good that you challenged yourself. Your ECs are strong and show commitment. You're in the top 7% of you class, which is great because colleges compare you to your school.

    Honestly, I think you're in. If your essay is strong, you're definitely in.

    Good luck, and do not be nervous; it takes time to process and review all the applications.

    It took forever for Michigan State to get my second ACT score with writing. Don't worry, those stats are great. You will be accepted. Check the portal often, and make sure your ACT score with writing is there.
