Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. I applied to MSU 2 days after priority action and was accepted around a week after they received my ACT. Am I completely out of consideration for scholarships since I applied after the priority deadline? Also do I have a decent chance of getting one? My GPA is 3.5 UW with no classes under the honors level and a considerable amount of APs and IBs. My ACT is 32. I appreciate any feedback, thank you!

@nyr823 it took about 8 weeks from acceptance for my D to get her scholarship letter. She is OOS and was awarded the University Scholars ($8k per year) and the one time study abroad $3k-$5k scholarship. The one is a merit based award and she did have her application completed back when the system first opened up. Not sure about the cut off so you may need to check the website. Her award is a merit based one and her GPA is 3.7 and 26 ACT.

You didn't mention if you were OOS or a MI resident. If you reside in MI it's highly unlikely, better chance if you are OOS. My S has a 3.97 all IB and a 32 ACT, he didn't receive a dime. I would love to keep my S and my money in state but w/o any merit help, that's not happening. Check with Financial aid office to confirm. Best of Luck to you!
