I have my schedule of classes, but how do I know what books I will need?
Where can I find that out and where do you recommend that I get the books from?
    Online or on campus?
    Thanks!
  • romanigypsyeyesromanigypsyeyes Registered User Posts: 33,737 Senior Member
You can either check some of the book sites- sbsmsu.com, spartanbook.com, etc.

Or there is a link on the schedule page. Go to schedule.msu.edu. Click on the "Schedule Builder" tab. Sign in with your MSU info. Where there is a list of 5 green links, underneath the semester drop down menu, there is a link that says "Textbooks and Supplemental Material". That will give you your textbooks :)

Thank you very much! That is VERY helpful!

^^ cool thanks Romani! Not even I knew about the schedule of courses textbooks button.
  • romanigypsyeyesromanigypsyeyes Registered User Posts: 33,737 Senior Member
^ Haha, you're welcome. I found it on accident about 3 months ago. It's what happens when your computer randomly clicks around >.<.

But it is helpful for the random classes that don't post textbooks.

Yeah, I think the textbook thing is new this year. It's really nice knowing the books so far in advance. All of you new people should make sure you check out amazon.com and half.com, you can save a lot of money that way.
