Ring Weekend Questions

I"m making hotel reservations for Ring weekend this August. West Point's calendar says August 19-20. We'll be in the city for the week leading up to this weekend and am trying to decide if we need to be at West Point Friday morning so we can plan on staying in Highland Falls on Thursday night.

In the past, has the ring ceremony been in the morning or evening on Friday? If there's no need to be at WP in the morning, we'll stay our last night in the city on Thursday.

(I can't post to the parent forum from work - our server blocks it otherwise I would normally ask there).

Thanks!

Thanks dychang. I remember your posts back from when my older son was going through the SLS and admissions process. How are you? Aren't you a cow with my son? Or did you go elsewhere?

My younger son is going to be class of 2015 so we have to go back for R day, then A day, then Ring weekend, and I'm reserving my rooms at the always classy and posh Econolodge:-)

    Hope all is well.
