are there still parties?

i know mount holyoke isn't a party school, but are there still good parties on campus or with the other four schools?
i really like this school..but i also like to party sometimes.

oh and i know sororities arent a big part of life, but are there still some?

    Yes, there are parties at Mount Holyoke....and parties available through the 5 College Consortium. MHC parties, large and small, draw students from the Consortium.

    No, there are no sororities, but that will not preclude you from making a great group of friends and having a good time.

    I would venture to say that in some respects, the campus is one huge sorority. The sense of sisterhood and empowerment is noticeable.

    Some @ MHC seek to be admitted to UMass sororities. But, MHC seems to be one big sorority.

    There are many parties on campus. Last weekend was Las Vegas Nite, with parties on campus in 2 venues. Apparently, very noisy -- music and people.
