Up. I don't have a number, but I can tell you it went up.

And, how many applicants are deferred (a few, some, or many) from ED's?

    School year 2006/2007

    3065 applied RD
    1632 accepted RD
    570 enrolled RD

    346 waitlisted
    203 accepted place on waitlist
    5 enrolled off waitlist

    269 applied ED
    182 accepted ED

There is no data regarding deferred from ED and then accepted. This was all provided in the Common Data Set which someone provided a link to some time ago.

You're looking for magic answers, and they do not exisit. Relax. I hope for all your sakes that you have other applications pending at other colleges that you would be delighted to attend, because you are setting yourself up for heartache and disappointment otherwise.

I remember someone in Admissions saying they got well over 3200 applications, a contrast to last year's 3065.
