    Thanks for sharing that article.

    My favorite line in it is this one:
    “life in the musical theatre doesn’t have to be going to auditions and hoping you get cast in a tour. What are you going to invent?”

    This happens to be how my daughter has approached her career in this field. But not all do. Some go to auditions and wait to be cast. Auditioning is a very minor part of my D's life, but she is working in music and theater round the clock. And she creates theater and music. I see this happening among many of her fellow grads too.
