DD was accepted to this program. Anyone else admitted?
Anyone currently attending this program that can give us your opinion on the program?

Hi there .... my daughter is a very happy sophomore there - it's definitely home to her and where she was meant to be.

The amount of shows they do a year is INSANE. Like, crazy insane. And it's very typically for freshman to be onstage within the first month of two of starting there. D loves the theatre profs for the most part - I've shared this story privately, but I don't think I've ever said it publicly: freshman year my D was super sick and she bombed an audition. First time since she was 6 she forgot words. She kept it together though and finished like a trooper. She was in the theatre lobby when one of the theatre profs came out of the audition room and made a beeline for my girl. Simply to hug her because she knew how badly she was feeling and how sick she was. That right there should tell you a lot about how the faculty cares for the kids.

If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

My daughter has also accepted and is extremely happy about it.
Loving the normal size theater program with the massive playlist! Not many places have 4 musicals and 36 other shows every year, and maintains a department size of roughly a hundred students (including tech). Everywhere else that I looked at with 40 or more shows, generally ran into several hundreds of students in the department.
Lots of opportunities and a realistic (professional) timeframe in which to get each show running.
