    It depends. What does your first tier include? This board has a hard time coming to a consensus on that.

    I think you'll find that concept raises hackles here and elsewhere. All audition schools are difficult to get into but what you're asking is reasonable - which MT schools are not as well known / difficult as the big names for admission. I think we had a thread on that two years ago.. let me see if I can find it.

    @beachymom posted an amazing resource list of schools that includes some marked as "hidden gems" - solid MT programs that may be easier for admission than big name programs. I would start there:

    Thanks! Yes, I should have phrased that as schools that are considered to have very good programs that are not crazy impossible to get into. That resource list is great!
