My son applied 9/22 online for Roosevelt University. He sent his ACT scores to the university last spring after taking the test. I called today to make sure they matched up that ACT score with his recent online application. I was told there was no sign of my son's application in the system. I did print the verification when he was finished and I had submitted our credit card info for payment. I told the woman that my fee of $100 had been taken out of our bank account on 9/24 so they must have received the application. She then told me that the fee should only be $75 and that the $100 fee must be a mistake. When I asked about getting a refund, I was told that it would be applied to my son's account if he is accepted and if not then would be refunded. I told her I did not want to wait until April or May for a refund.
After finishing the application, the verification page had a checklist of things still to do and send. One was to request your audition. When I asked about requesting an audition, I was told he was supposed to fill out an audition request page as part of the online application. There was NO audition request page.
Has anyone else attempted an application at Roosevelt and encountered problems?
