Summer term for Amigo & transfer Amigo scholarships - No OOS tuition

Hi, all!

A question came up about the cost of summer terms for those on the Amigo and transfer Amigo scholarships, so I asked about it.

The answer is that taking classes during the summer does not use up a semester of Amigo OOS tuition waiver. This is the case whether one has 8 semesters (freshmen admits) of waiver or 4 (transfers). UNM charges the same tuition for summer classes regardless of whether the student is in-state or OOS.

This is especially great for transfers since those summer terms really help if your transfer credits don't quite knock out a full two years of degree requirements.

P.S. I somehow managed to post this in the wrong forum. I've asked a mod to move it. Sorry!
