Am I "triple qualified"? Or "quad-qualified" (or whatever it is...)?

triple qualified generally means academic, physical, and medical, and some people call "quad-qualified" with the previous 3 plus a nomination status

So I was wondering: do I count as 3Q'd/4Q'd?

UW GPA: 3.50/4 (3.75 W)
ACT: 32 C: 34 E, 34 M, 30 R, 29 S
SAT: 2110: 680 CR, 740 M, 690 W

3 sports: Powerlifting, Rowing, Frisbee (captain 3 years)
CFA: 62 ft BBall Throw, 9.2 sec shuttle, 16 pullups, 92 situps, 75 pushups (max score), 7:10 mile

I have a congressional (from my district) nomination.

Thanks. I looked around for a bit, but I never saw what constituted a "triple qualified candidate" (or 4Q'd...)

One of the 3Q is scholastic (NOT just academic) which includes all aspects of your h.s. experiences ....sports/ECA/leadership positions/teacher recommendations/class rank/gap/standardized scores such as ACT/SAT, etc.

Frankly, no one can do anything but guess at your 'chances' of an appointment by looking at your resume. A big part of the MOC process is the interviews they do and obviously none of us on here can evaluate how you will do without being able to talk live with you.

If you are 3Q AND have a NOM, you will then be in the running with others simliarly qualified for an appointment.

lol i never asked for chances.

I was just asking if I was what one would consider 3Q'd, as I couldn't find a clear cut way of telling with a yes/no.

WIth DODMERB (medical) that is 1 of the Q's it is either yes/no. Either you passed the physical or you didn't. Their website will tell you your status. CFA is also pass/fail as well.

In some years, the academy will tell an applicant if they are considered 3Q or not. I have never heard anyone ever refer to having a NOM as the 4th Q.

No one on here can tell you if have the scholastic Q simply by looking at your h.s. scores. etc......so I am not sure exactly what you are asking us.

Also good to consult the official USNA site that describes the application process in further detail.

In SOME years they have.......might also check this other site where it appears you also posted the same topic, since more participate there. Might also ask your BGO if not sure of your status.
