The new Cal State Apply application?

CSUdreamCSUdream Registered User Posts: 4 New Member
Will be applying in the fall to Cal State schools using this new application. The overview on their site says that we now apply once, and click on all the state schools we want our app to go to. My question is, are we able to choose a different MAJOR for the different schools ?? Thanks in advance!

    Yes, you can select a different major for each CSU campus.

    I helped my other kids apply in the past using CSU Mentor, and it was a piece of cake. Can anyone who has used this new application tell me if this is also easy to figure out? If not, do they supply a tutorial to refer to if we have any confusion as we're filling it out?

    @CSUdream:

    Here are some of the issues found on the Cal State Apply last year and hopefully all problems have been solved.

    1) Unable to enter College courses taken during HS correctly.
    2) Instructions for entering Middle school courses/grades for Algebra/Geometry and Foreign Language not originally included. These courses are now entered under 9th grade instead of 8th grade as previously required in the CSU Mentor application
    3) Incorrect labeling/categories for the a-g courses
    4) Incorrect capped weighted CSU GPA calculation

    There is a liaison link to help with any questions and also phone#’s or email contacts.

    Thank you @Gumbymom . I feel bad for last year's applicants....hopefully they were able to fix these kinks for this year. Fingers crossed! :)
