So i applied to Brooklyn, Queens, and
Hunter. My highschool GPA is 2.69
my SAT math and critical reading
scores are both 530. So its
MATH A- 78. MATH B-84
Earth sci-92. Living env-81.
Global-87. U.s. History-78
i used to be in all honors classes in
9th and 10th grade but fell off the
wagon. I took AP u.s. History and
passed and AP bio but failed. I also
took precalc my senior year.
Are my grades good enough to get
into at least hunter or brooklyn I
really would like to gain acceptance
into these 2 schools.

My daughter was accepted to both Queens and Hunter (she didn't apply to Brooklyn) with the following stats:

GPA: 2.91 (she was an indifferent student in HS, at college she's running a 3.73)

No AP classes or honors classes, just wasn't interested.

    SATs: 680 writing, 660 English, 620 math

    Math A: 88 Math B: 74 Earth Science: 80 Bio: 85 Chem: 69 non-regents physics

English: 96 Global: 97 US History: 97. Regents' diploma wth honors, not advanced as she dropped foreign language after 2 years.

This was 2 years ago. She is currently at an upstate SUNY which she loves.

Good luck. If you don't get in to one of those, try Queensborough Community and then transfer into Queens.
