hey im planning on applying to NYU but wanted to know if my major would affect me during the admissions process. would it be "easier" to get in if i apply as an english or communications major as opposed to undecided in the college of arts and sciences? my english grades have always been really high but im not sure what exactly i want to major in yet. im leaning towards english or communications or journalism. any input would be helpful. thankyou!

No, applying to a major will not hurt you. Apply to whichever program you like. NYU knows that many college students change majors after being accepted.
