Application Incomplete!!! CAS ED1 Help Please?

Hello. So yesterday morning I got an email from NYU saying my application is incomplete because they didn't receive my test scores. They were sent in attached to my application by my school, will they not accept those? Does NYU only accept official test scores? If so, if I turn them in now is it too late? Or will it delay my application results? Not sure the protocol at this point. Please help!!!

I'm in the same boat. Send in your SAT scores right now via the collegeboard website ASAP. I'm not quite sure if admission decisions will be delayed. In my e-mail it said "Expect decisions to be e-mailed after Dec. 15 but no later than Dec. 31." I hope it is still on the 15th.

I think I can allay some of your concerns. I called NYU this morning, for I also received that email and had sent my SAT scores to NYU on Nov. 1. I talked to someone in undergraduate studies who said that there was some sort of error and those emails were sent out to nearly every ED1 candidate, seeing as many scores were lost. She also said that we needed to send scores again ASAP and, as long as we explained the situation to the College Board, would not have to pay another fee; furthermore, she said that I would not be penalized due to this error.

However, I called a second time and spoke to someone in admissions who said that the admissions office received and opened my scores this morning, and I had nothing to worry about. I just checked the Albert site for the status of my application, and it says my scores were, in fact, received.

If I were you, I'd call NYU's admissions office to double check, as well as checking Albert.

    Good luck! :)

Alrighty. Thank for the info. I called NYU, or my counselor did, and they said that they hadn't received my scores and I had to resend them... So I did last night and ACT sends them electronically but I checked Albert this morning and it's still unchecked.. :/ I'm super stressed about it all right now.

Okay, I called NYU again today. They told me that my guidance counselor can e-mail them the scores from a school e-mail address and they would still accept them. So I just e-mailed my counselor and explained to her the whole situation. So if you're in the same boat as me, I suggest following my advice. Don't wait for the SAT score reports to get sent. Don't let the College Board control your fate.

Oh my goodness. I looked on the ACT FAQ's and it said it may take up to two weeks to send my scores... THey saud emailing worked? whom did they email it to? Should I call?

Yup, mine is complete now too. My counselor e-mailed scores first thing in the morning and I feel super relieved, lol.
