ED I or ED II?

falconicfalconic Registered User Posts: 33 Junior Member
Hey guys,
I'm currently a senior in High School applying to NYU with ED. I am however conflicted about which Early Decision option to pick. I want NYU to see my Semester 1 Senior year grades since my grades have a huge upward trend, however I also want to ED I since apparently it has an even higher acceptance rate than ED II.

What do you guys think I should do?

Which NYU college are you applying to (Stern, Tandon, Courant, CAS, etc.)? At one of the more competitive schools with lower admit rates you may want to apply as EDI to make the strongest impression possible to the admissions officers and come off as more desirable, especially if you're application/stats are less than stellar. But if you have a good looking transcript, great essays, and ECs, then you could try and go with EDII.
I myself am currently trying to decide whether or not to apply as EDI/II or RD to NYU (Probably not EDI though because I doubt I'll be able to make it by then). I'm applying to Tandon which from what I've heard isn't too competitive compared to some of the others.
