Worried about being rescinded

I got accepted into NYU RD, and I'm worried about the possible chance of being rescinded. Because of covid's effects on my family, one of my grades dropped pretty badly. I had an A in the first semester, but now I'm ending the year with a C avg in that class (D in second semester). The rest of my grades look like this: A, A, A, A, B+. Would this raise concern, or am I okay? My friends tell me I'm okay, but the fact that the grade dropped so much worries me.

Personally, I believe you are fine. It would take drop in almost all of your grades for your admission to be rescinded.

Agree you should be fine. NYU is very unlikely to rescind for a D in one semester, especially given that the rest of your grades are strong.
